Do
you want to feel like a kid again? Free and unencumbered? Hop
on my two-passenger red Honda Helix 250 with me and we’ll cruise down the
highway as fast as the speed limit allows. Or we’ll leisurely explore
the countryside, feeling the various pockets of air become cooler or warmer
as we drive through. The scenery envelops all of our beings, surrounding
us with more beauty than we can absorb. The sweeping expanse of the
sky shows us something about the concept of infinity – it seems that we
can see forever. We point out to one another the never-ending new
discoveries that appear with each turn of the road. We drive by an
alfalfa field in full bloom and marvel at the sweet scent. Or we
ride by a freshly-cut mint field, smelling the mint in the air as deeply
as we can before we pass by. Maybe we’ll drive through the hillsides,
dotted with rows and rows of apples, apricots, pears, peaches, plums, or
cherries. Who knows where the next road will take us? And who
cares? It’s just fun to explore, don’t you think?
