History: The April Fools Run started out as a fundraiser for our Youth Track Club. It was called the YMCA Track Club Fun Run. Since then, the race has had different names. It was called the Murphy's Run due to a sponsorship by Murphy's. The April Fools Run came about due to the sponsorship of Blue Shield of Idaho. Since then, this event has become co-sponsored by Micron as part of our Track Club support system. The income has however remained in the Fun Run line.
