Walter & Chari Ghrist:
They met at a wedding for Chari's best friend Rachel and a close friend of Walter's from the Army, Brian, on January 14th, 1994 in Chari's hometown of Newton near Des Moines, Iowa. After the weekend, they couldn't ignore the feelings that they had for one another. They carried on a long distance relationship by numerous phone calls and letters for several months. Then they arranged a meeting in Denver, Colorado in April. After nearly a week together in beautiful Colorado, they knew they wanted to spend their lives together. So, in the end of July of that same year, Chari made a spectacular decision to take a managerial position with a branch of the same company she worked for in Iowa, and moved to Idaho. Then after 2 years of pure enjoyment together, they were wed on August 31, 1996. To date they still live in Boise, with their two dogs, merely enjoying each other's company to no end. Chari is currently working as a Bookkeeper/Accountant for a local Dentist and Walter works for Micron Technology. Walter has had 5 poems published in Amateur poetry books. Some of which can be viewed from their homepage, which is under construction from time to time for changing out the poems and adding things.
They are now expecting their first child, due at the end of February. They didn't find out if it is a boy or girl because they wanted to be surprised. So far they've settled on Jason Michael for a boy and either Corri Sue or McKenzie Sue for a girl. And no, they currently are not taking any suggestions, but thanks.
