Dean's Machines
LINKS
(This page is under construction,  more links soon.)

These are some pages I find interesting.  If you are viewing my machine pages, I assume you have similar interests, so you may want to check some of these pages out.

Pages by Individuals:

 Dave Goodfellow's Homepage
Dave has some pictures of steam engines that he built in his own shop, and an interesting construction sequence to view.

 Flosi Gundmundsson's Metal Working Projects
Flosi has a number of lathe accessories he made on his own equipment.

 Ron Ginger's Homepage
Ron has many interesting projects, including a neat sensitive drilling attachment for the Sherline mill, which could probably be adapted to other small mills.

 Varmint Al
Al has a lot of everything!  This link goes to  his 7 X 10 mini-lathe page.  Check out his other pages too.

 Lamborn's Miniature Engines
Brian Lamborn has some good looking engines and a nicely done page.  Take a look.

Equipment Pages

   Nick Carter's Taig Lathe Pages
Just about everything you can ask about the Taig lathe.  He sells 'em too.

 Sherline Products Homepage
Sherline lathes and mills, plus accessories and data sheets on their equipment.

 North Star Hobby Machining Supplies
A Sherline dealer for our Canadian friends

Some interesting web groups for the Home Machinist
These groups are specific to their respective brand of machine, but much of the info is machine generic.  Even if the discussion is mainly about a Taig or 7 x 10 lathe, for instance,  the procedures and techniques could be used for most any machine.  (I subscribe to them all). There are a lot of good ideas here.

 Sherline eGroup
Sherline miniature machine tools group

 7 X 10 eGroup
The 7 X 10 mini-lathe.  Improvements and projects.

 Taig eGroup
Taig product and projects discussion.
