Are you crazy?

QDMerge sounds interesting. Where can I find it?

Alright, either I've sold you on QDMerge's utility (which is improving with each iteration), or you want to laugh at the developmental code (which isn't really too bad).

Everything you need right now is in the QDMerge.tar.gz file. Download and extract it. (Developers, go here instead!)

If you're using Windows or another platform, you can use the ZIPped version. You're less likely to have Perl installed, though, so you may have to head over to Perl.org (or ActiveState and sort through things there. If you do manage to get it working, please drop me a line and tell me how you did it. I'm doing my development on a couple of x86 Linux platforms where things are more predictable (from my side of the fence).

Unless your name is Larry, Tom, Randal, Nathan, or CowboyNeal, you may want to check the documentation page before getting wrapped up in your shiny new toy. I try to make comments in the code, but then something good comes on TV. I am getting better about it.

If you're a programmer, be sure to look at the ominously named text files (DESIGN being one) in the directory. It's chock full of text. New to this version are other .txt files scattered about the place. They should all be indexed, I know, but the only thing more boring than rebooting a Windows box is setting up a good indexing system. ('cuz the Windows box sometimes has pictures).
