QDMerge sounds promising. How can I help you with it?

The largest need right now is for coders. If you're another Perl hacker with some free time and some interest in the project, I welcome your assistance. As you can see on the plan page, there's a lot of pasture to pave. (Or pavement to pasture, as you I prefer.) See the text files under modules and DESIGN and IDEAS in the main archive directory. Not everything is completely documented yet, but it's getting there. Visit SourceForge to help!

Much thanks to Joris Bontje for his help so far!

If you're not a programmer, there's plenty of other stuff you can do. It would be nice to build a library of good looking templates to distribute, especially for document types other than HTML (maybe XML, or PS, or info, or troff, or...). It would also be nice to write some more documentation or tutorials (as things start to get more complicated).

Finally, if you have suggestions or ideas that haven't already been covered here, let me know.
