1. Click on “Search the MLS”. This will bring up the Multiple Listing Search Page.
2. Check in appropriate box at top which type of property you are looking for (i.e. Residential, Lots and Land etc. You must check at least one of the boxes but multiple boxes may be checked. The search will automatically categorize each selection. I would suggest looking at one category at a time.
3. Area: This is an area you can skip unless you already know the area you are looking for. If you want to review, simply click the “magnifying glass” icon and a list will come up.
4. Subdivisions: If you know the subdivision you are interested in, you can specifically check it in this location but to do so you MUST HAVE CHECKED a box in item #3 above.
5. Cities: Click the “magnifying glass” icon and a list of cities will come up. Check one or as many as you wish. It will then search only the cities you check.
6. Price: This is the best sorting tool. You can check by price range by entering the first 3 digits (i.e. $200,000 would be 200…the last 3 digits are already imbedded in the system). If you want to look at properties between $200,000 and $299,000 you would put in you parameters here. It will then search only properties within that price range. If you leave it blank, it will search all properties.

The balance of the boxes is self-explanatory. When you have finished putting in your selections, YOU MUST HIT THE “SUBMIT” BUTTON. This will then commence the search and a list of properties based on your parameters entered will appear with pictures, details etc. for you review.
